The Savitri temple in Pushkar is located on the Ratnagiri hill. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Savitri (Brahma first Wife).The temple was built in 1687.Savitri mountain offers great view of surroundings of Pushkar.
Savitri Mountain is one of most famous hiking and camping point of Pushkar. The walk up from the base takes about 25 minutes, although you may need a few breaks it is quite a steep incline of stairs. You have to climb more than 500 stairs to reach main Temple. The best time to visit the temple is Sunset or Sunrise. You can enjoy amazing photography with panoramic views.

Pay NowThe ashram and cave are dedicated to Sage Vishwamitra. Maharishi Vishwamitra did austerity (tapasya) here for a long time. Maharishi Vishwamitra is one of the most venerated sage of ancient India. As per the holy Puranas, there have been only 24 Rishis in India who have the Gayatri Mantra. It is believed that Sage Vishwamitra is the first saint.
The Cave is 2 kilometres far from Pushkar and situated in the middle of the Aravalli mountains. There is no sure way to reach the ashram and it is made by natural stones on its own. Cacti and thorny bushes welcome you in between the way. A monk supervises the ashram and Cave. Near the cave there are Mausoleum (samadhis) of some saints who did austerity.
You can spend the whole day by camping there in the middle of nature.

The grace of Mother Goddess Gayatri, the authority of the four Vedas namely, Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharvana is a must for everyone in general and Hindus in particular. She has other names like Vedamatha and many. Her temple is popularly known as Pap Mochani Mandir in Pushkar.
The short hike to Pap Mochani Temple took only 20 minutes from the base and provided panoramic views of Pushkar and the holy lake. The temple is painted bright pink and you can spot it from just about anywhere in the town. The way is made by natural stones and covered by thorny bushes and Cacti. The best time to visit the temple is Sunset or Sunrise.

Pay NowAgastya was a revered Vedic sage of Hinduism. In the Indian tradition, he is a noted recluse and an influential scholar in diverse languages of the Indian subcontinent.
The cave is situated in the middle of the Aravalli mountains and is about 2 kilometres from Centre of Pushkar. MUNI Agastya did austerity(tapasya) here for a long time. There are two carved feet on the stones. They are the symbols of Muni Agastya.
Near the cave there are Mausoleum (samadhis) of some saints who did austerity. According to beliefs, whoever takes a bath there takes virtue.
